Things I love...

Some of my favorite posts from other bloggers are series featuring things they own and love, or things they want. (ie: HERE, HERE)  I generally love the things they actually own more because I assume they are more authentic and less of an advertisement, but either way I have to admit I love seeing what other people deem worthy of spending money on.  I don't know where this fascination comes from except that I am a person that will rarely buy ANYTHING without reading at least half a dozen reviews (thank you Amazon).  I also admit to light snooping at people's houses to see what shampoo they use, what's in their medicine cabinet, and usually what kind of tea they have in their pantry.  My secret's out!

So for this first day of November, I have featured some things I am currently thankful I own (LOVE), as well as a few things I would consider if I had an endless amount of disposable income (or any income) at this point in time (LUST).  Maybe next time I'll be less lazy and take my own pictures to prove I actually own the things I own. Maybe not.

LOVE:

Because it was cheap, I can wear it in the shower,
no one knows it has a useful "indiglo light," and it was a decent
alternative to this watch that's been on my LUST list forever.

Because I drove 45 mins outside Seattle my first week here to buy them.
Nothing says fall like cheap scented candles. Nothing.

Because I just finished it today, so it probably qualifies as a LUST item,
but I do love it. The unflavored goat whey kind is just as good, although
more expensive.  A smoothie with spinach, frozen bananas, milk,
peanut butter, greek yogurt and coffee is perfect.
I know that sounds awful, but it's awesome.

It may be hard for me to not include these every single time.
First, I LOVE LLBEAN. Second, these slippers are really the
best thing you can ever have on your feet. Plain and Simple.

LUST:

Because I may be the only one in this great city without one.

Because baby it's cold outside and I only
really run in one pair of tights.

I'm already obsessed with Pendleton blankets,
but this Day of the Dead themed one is perfect for today.

Finally, a SMART car.  Because my car is on it's last leg
and a small electric number like this is actually super affordable
and perfect for a city where no one drives over 35 mph.
Just don't google "smart car crash." Yikes.
