One Month as a kind-of WA Resident

I say kind of because I have yet to actually go to the DMV and get that bizness taken care of.  Shh. Anyway, like I mentioned before, I have a HUGE post in the drafting works reflecting on Seattle that I was hoping to publish today.  But alas, the list just keeps growing.  So instead I leave you with two little gems to taken you dancing into your weekend.

First... Seattle has, hands down, the best radio station I've ever come across in my life.  My previous favorite was WPRK, the Rollins College station, back in Winter Park.  Seattle's KEXP easily tops it. Like I fall in love with the city all over again every time I listen to it and the Jesus and Mary Chain comes on.  Or the day (week) Lou Reed died, litterally everything was Lou and/or the Velvet Underground.  That's probably what did it for me.  But the best part is... YOU TOO can listen to KEXP all day, every day.  They have an iPhone app! So get it, and thank me later.  The only downside is that I hardly ever listen to NPR anymore, which used to rule my literal and digital airwaves.
