If beginning a blog was like beginning a relationship and I really liked you I would probably make you a mix cd. I strongly believe compiling the perfect mix is a true talent and also a very personal, intimate gift. Especially back in the day when making a "mix-tape" required sitting by the radio for hours until "that song" came on the radio and you hit record. side-note: Yes, I was a lucky owner of a dual cassette player way back when and I admit to recording "Love Line" every single night. But I also remember when iTunes changed my life and allowed me to easily organize every song in the perfect order and actually choose the length of pause between each song. I think people now disregard how perfect a well thought out music compilation can truly be. The order and combination of a good mix is still, in my mind, perfection.
